Nourish & Grow
8-Week Mentorship
A whole-body approach to infant feeding therapy — and the practice to go with it.

This 8-week mentorship was built for SLPs and OTs who are ready to step fully into a whole-body, developmental approach to infant feeding. We go deep on clinical skills — posture, reflexes, lactation, TOTs and oral motor — and we don't stop there. We also do the work of building a practice identity that's aligned, clear, and sought after.

Small cohort. Real mentorship. No fluff.

This mentorship is for you if:

  • You work with infants (0–12 weeks) and want a more integrated clinical framework

  • You are an SLP or OT in private practice — or building toward it

  • You have the foundational skills in feeding and are ready to go further: whole-body assessment, body-based interventions, and the breastfeeding dyad

  • You want to be the go-to infant feeding provider in your community — and you're ready to build the practice identity that gets you there

  • You want mentorship, not just content — a small group, real cases, and someone genuinely invested in your growth

This is not a course you consume passively. It's a mentorship you show up for.

What We Cover

Clinical Foundations

  • A developmental framework — understanding how feeding connects to posture, movement, and brain development

  • Honing your assessment skills — learning to zoom out, see the nuance, and develop your clinical reasoning

  • Body-based interventions: how to integrate them meaningfully into your feeding therapy plan of care

  • Oral motor exercises — critical thinking in neuromuscular reeducation and how to use them well

  • Lactation within the feeding therapy lens — supporting the dyad, and when to refer

  • Building a TOTs team: making smart referrals and guiding families through the process with confidence

Practice Development

  • Leaning into your identity as a feeding therapist — what makes you distinct in your community

  • Building a private practice that's aligned with who you are, the families you serve, and the work you actually want to do

"I cannot say enough good things about Carissa and the Nourish Feeding Therapy mentorship. Being newer to the feeding therapy world, I've always looked up to Carissa! And this mentorship has truly been a game changer for me. Carissa is incredibly knowledgeable, but what stands out even more is how generous she is with her time, experience, and support. She shows up fully, gives it her all, and genuinely wants each of us to grow and succeed. She has not only deepened my understanding of feeding therapy, but has also changed the way I see my clients. I brought several infant cases to her, and she helped me slow down, zoom out, and truly look at the whole body, function, regulation, reflexes, and the sensory system.

She creates a safe, encouraging space to ask questions, dive deep into cases, and reflect on clinical reasoning. I've learned so much, but more that that, I've felt supported, and inspired!!!

If you are a feeding therapist looking to grow, connect, and be mentored by someone truly exceptional, Carissa is it. The experience has been sooo valuable and I'm so grateful to be learning from one of the best.

-Marissa, MS, OTR/L, CLC
