Mentorship
A Holistic Feeding Therapy Mentorship: From Clinical Roots to Private Practice Growth.
This 6-week mentorship program was thoughtfully crafted for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) who specialize in infant feeding (0-12 weeks) and are ready to elevate both their clinical expertise and their private practice offerings. We will go beyond traditional oral motor techniques, embracing a whole-body, integrative approach to infant feeding - with a particular emphasis on tethered oral tissues (TOTs). You’ll gain clarity around the impact of TOTs beyond feeding, guidance for building a strong team and walking families through the process.
Clinical Topics Include:
-
Foundations of a holistic, whole body infant feeding model
-
Critical thinking in assessment and treatment of oral dysfunction
-
The Interplay of primitive reflexes and orofacial myofunctional disorders
-
Case study reviews
Business Topics Include:
-
Establishing a unique identity within your community
-
Clear branding and marketing to build your niche practice
-
Collaborative care and critical thinking in referrals
This program is a place for therapists to feel supported and encouraged on your professional journey. I want to see providers experience growth and enthusiasm for what this adds to their practice. Each week includes live presentations, open Q&A sessions, and a private platform for ongoing dialogue, support, and case presentations between meetings. You’ll be surrounded by peers who understand the unique challenges and rewards of private practice.
Who This Is For
This mentorship is ideal for infant feeding therapists who:
-
Have a foundational understanding of oral motor therapy but want to grow their understanding of a whole body approach
-
Desire to build or expand a private practice rooted in infant feeding and TOTs
-
Want support and community from others on the same journey
By the end of this program, you’ll walk away with greater clinical clarity, actionable steps to grow your practice, and a new community of colleagues who are cheering you on.
